The Stable Cafe is located on the Biltmore Estate. It is one of the few restaurants available to dine at when visiting. The cafe has been built out of the renovated stables on the estate, hence the name. I have to say that I was impressed with the quality of the food as well as the nice atmosphere. Some tourist attractions will skimp on quality when they have the opportunity to take advantage of the visiting patron. Amazingly Stable Cafe stood up the task and performed admirably. We had to eat while at the estate and the Stable Cafe was a great choice. The food was good, it wasn't overly priced and the establishment provided a great break from the exhausting tours of the estate. Definitely worth the time and money.

Fatz Cafe are plentiful in S. Carolina, N. Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia and Virginia. I had the opportunity to stop in for a bite just recently on a trip to Georgia. I have to say it was fantastic. The atmosphere was great and the food was top notch. The manager even checked on us throughout the meal to make sure everything was going well. I was very pleased and if the other locations are like the one in Hendersonville, then I expect to see these all over the country soon.

I had the Calabash Wrap. It was amazing, and just the right size for lunch. My wife had the sweet corn and crab chowder that which was just as good.

Fatz is a great choice for a good lunch and a relazing atmosphere. I would recommend it to anyone traveling on I-26 passing Hendersonville NC. Great experience
