Old Airport pub will soon be The Kickstand. This bar opened Saturday Dec. 22, 2007! Still currently using the name of Airport pub the owners Carl, Dale, and Al are setting the tone with live bands, a dance floor, plenty of seating, new decor, and bike theme! After the New Year everyone is hoping to have a running kitchen and a new internet juke box! This place is run amongst friends and will soon be known as the neighborhood bar. Next door is AM leather where bikers of all kind purchase leather goods. During summer months AM leather holds bike shows and rides. Nice place for cheap drink if you don't mind not having alot of liquor in them. I would avoid at all costs, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday nights. On Tuesday and Friday nights, the bartender is so drunk she can barely make drinks. She has to do shots and give her friends drinks before waiting on paying customers. The waitress usually has to go behind the bar and make her customers drinks. On Saturday, they have karaoke, if your into that. The bartender is excellent, but the waitress has no idea what she is doing. She mixes up drinks and is soo slow. They used to have a great staff in there a year ago. They got rid of my three favorite bartenders and stuck us with drunk, slow people waiting on us. I would avoid this place unless you feel like waiting on yourself.
