No wonder the Stable Café is such a popular meeting place. The hearty fare and friendly ambience make this café a favorite stop after visits to Biltmore House and gardens. It's the must-see transformation of a 19th-century stable into a fascinating café where guests dine in renovated horse stalls. Located at the end of the stable area beside Biltmore House, the café features slow-cooked rotisserie chicken, fresh salads, and irresistible desserts. Younger guests can order from a special children's menu.

John wrote on Jun 3 at 4:52 pmThe Stable Cafe is located on the Biltmore Estate. It is one of the few restaurants available to dine at when visiting. The cafe has been built out of the renovated stables on the estate, hence the name. I have to say that I was impressed with the quality of the food as well as the nice atmosphere. Some tourist attractions will skimp on quality when they have the opportunity to take advantage of the visiting patron. Amazingly Stable Cafe stood up the task and performed admirably. We had to eat while at the estate and the Stable Cafe was a great choice. The food was good, it wasn't overly priced and the establishment provided a great break from the exhausting tours of the estate. Definitely worth the time and money.
