Water Street Tavern is the most popular bar in downtown Kent, and been named by Scene Magazine as NE Ohio's Best College Bar. We offer the cheapest drafts in town, the lowest liqour prices you will find in the area, and have the most popular promotions and entertainment. With a creative and imaginative owner and the help of his loyal staff, we have created some of the most popular reasons to go out to the bars. We have put on the most popular Ladies Night that has ever been in downtown Kent, which means you now have a reason to go out on a Tuesday Night! We are the only bar in Kent where you will have a bartender that is model-esque standing on top of the bar pouring a shot in your mouth on our forever famous, or maybe we should say infamous, "Coyote Ugly Night." You may have also heard of some of the unique acts we've had like Billy Kraus, aka the "Piano Man.", The Black Diamond, or many more. We have also brought in such entertainment with the likes of Puck from the Real World San Francisco, the cast of the Boondock Saints, Comedian Steve Byrne, musician Ryan Cabrera, and Girls Gone Wild has also been known to make an appearance every now and again.
