John wrote on Jun 9 at 11:46 pmIt is pretty much a count down till the doors close at the dame. I'm pretty sure that the 22 is the last night it will be open. I don't know for sure, but that is the last show listing. It will be sad to see it leave

John wrote on Jan 11 at 9:09 amThe Dame is pretty much the only music scene in Lexington. I do have to say they manage to get a pretty good variety of acts too. I've seen Andrew Bird there and Dressy Bessy. Pretty intimate setting for some really good music.

brandon wrote on Jan 7 at 6:45 pmThe Dame is now open on Sundays but their liquor license on permits them to serve beer. It is an alternative to some of over crowd bars.

Bar Fly wrote on Dec 7 at 7:00 pmI love live music and some of the acts are really good, but the sound tech is horrible. I do not see the point in playing music so loud that it changes into noise. The Dame is a small venue, but you would think that the sound guy was supplying music for 5,000 people. I leave with a headache most of the time, which prevents me from going to see some of the shows.

Sean wrote on Dec 5 at 10:04 pmGood place. Usually good music (occasionally GREAT music). If you go there on a busy night, though, be ready to wait for a drink.
