Stiff drinks served from our classic wooden bar have earned Hattie's legendary status. That bar was hand carved in France, shipped around the Horn, and installed here in 1904. In the early 1950's, well known artist Fred Oldfield, added a 24-foot mural, capturing the attention of diners seated at the cafe counter that runs along its length. Much of the decor has gone essentially unchanged over the years, but this has nothing to do with carelessness - we take great pride in preserving the rich flavor of this vintage institution.
